Another finish !!

Another finish -- on a roll at last. This is my entry for the Linus challenge at my quilt group. The challenge is to make a Linus quilt about 40 to 50 inches square or about 45 x 50 inches but it can be smaller or a little larger so very flexible on size and also the preferred backing should be fleece, and at least one piece of fabric used must come from the box of fabric donated to the group for charity quilts,--- so here is mine using the strip sets from my scrappy trip around the world to make the 16 patches and the stone coloured plain is from the box (no one wanted it and I'm always a sucker for unloved fabrics)

and this is a close up of the quilting -- very plain and in close up a bit wonky!!

I used a bright variegated thread to add some life to the plain and I think it has made a cheerful quilt for a young child in need of a quilty hup.
