A quilt top finish

Finally finished the "quick" log cabin quilt top --- big sigh of relief--- now all I have to do is layer it up and quilt it !!! Lets hope it raises a goodly sum in the Greyhound gap auction starting this weekend

Log cabin progress

Still trying to make good progress on the log cabin blocks but today is Grand parent day so I think it will be slow going----anyway I'm almost there with the blocks so should finish them tomorrow and then have the weekend for sewing the blocks together and a simple border, this will give me a week to finish and hopefully it will bring in some much needed funds for Greyhound Gap Rescue.
P.S wish I could work out the photos hopeful will have success when I've finished the quilt!!!

Disappearing 4 patch

Tried out the disappearing 4 patch this week . Took just a couple of afternoons to complete the sample to show the group on Wednesday I think It will be good for our Christmas raffle quilt (to raise funds for fabric for our quilts for Linus Project) It will be easy for each member to make a block and will make a good size quilt.
Now working on a quick Log Cabin quilt for the Greyhound gap auction at the end of the month----funds are urgently needed for the over 100 hounds in their care waiting for their "forever home".

First finish of the year

Finished a modern pieced cushion for my DIL office. When I work out the photo side of things I'll add a picture tomorrow (hopefully) at the moment it's bed and paracetamol to try and kill this headache.Ugh!!!
